Received the edited files of our third title back from editor today. I reviewed while sitting in the Denver airport on my way home from Malice Domestic. I'm still writing my draft for a joint novella project, so these edits will have to wait.

Heading from NY to MD for the every exciting Malice Domestic convention. I received my Kirkus review of DESIGNER DIRTY LAUNDRY and am thrilled. Exerpts will be posted on the Polyester Press home page, dianevallere.com, and the cover. Woot!

What a great place to be if you're a mystery fan. Four days of mingling with other like people. It's good for the mind and the soul. Where else do you get to talk books 24-7 and occasionally pick up tips on disposing bodies?

My current project is coming along nicely at the pace of 1500 words a day. Necessary since this is a joint project; have to make sure I'm not holding up the team.

The equation: 3 writers + 3 series characters + 3 trips that intersect at the airport + 1 luggage mixup = 3 novellas = 1 novel with 3 awesome characters.

No announced publication date yet, but I'm thinking late 2012/early 2013. Stay tuned.

Spending today reading/revising the planned third book to be released by Polyester Press. It goes off to the editor today. Book cover has come along nicely. Stay tuned.
